ⓘ What is a Points Check and how do I get one?

A Points Check is an official report from UKC that shows your dog's current titles, qualifying legs, and championship points. It's how we know where your dog stands before they start competing on SportDogHub.

Step 1: Ask UKC for your Points Check

You have two options:

Online form: Go to ukcdogs.com/points-check. Fill in your name, dog's name, UKC number, and email. For Event Type, pick "Show Operations - Dock Jumping." UKC will email you the results.

Email: Send an email to [email protected] with your dog's registered name, UKC number, and the sport (e.g. Dock Jumping).

Heads up: UKC can take up to 3 weeks after an event to update their records.

Step 2: Paste or upload it here

Paste Text: Open the email from UKC, select all the text (Ctrl+A / Cmd+A), copy it (Ctrl+C / Cmd+C), and paste it below.

Upload PDF: If UKC sent a PDF attachment, save it and switch to the "Upload PDF" tab.

Step 3: Review and save

Click "Parse" and you'll see a preview of everything we found — titles, legs, and points. Make sure it looks right, then hit "Save to Profile." That's it!

How importing works:

Sets your starting point — the Points Check tells us where your dog stands with UKC right now (titles earned, legs, and points). Think of it as a snapshot from UKC.
Future splashes count automatically — after you import, any scores your dog earns at a UKC-sanctioned event on SportDogHub will automatically add to your legs and points. No extra work needed.
Finals don't count — just like UKC rules, finals splashes do not count toward titles, legs, or points.
Your scores are always safe — importing never deletes your competition scores or jump log. Those stay forever for your stats and history.

Re-importing? If you get an updated Points Check from UKC later, just import it again. It will reset your starting point to match UKC's latest data. Any SportDogHub splashes from after the new import will continue to count on top.

Example: You import a Points Check showing 3 legs in Senior. Your dog then jumps 17'2" at a UKC event on SportDogHub — that's leg #4. One more qualifying splash and your dog earns the USJ title!
